A light that the blind can see,
Prayer is a gift the poor can bring,
However poor they be.

Prayer is a star that lights the way,
For those who are in despair,
And when your heart kneels down to pray,
God will hear your prayer.

Prayer is a pillar for the weak,
A comfort for those who fear,
Prayer is a word the dumb can speak,
A sound the deaf can hear.

Prayer gives itself to everyone,
None will God its power deny,
To those that call upon His Son
Their needs He will supply.
