(THE SECRET OF A HAPPY LIFE)

Lord, help me live from day to day,
In such a self-forgetful way,
That even when I kneel to pray,
My prayer may be for OTHERS.

Since nothing I can give to Thee,
Show me how love can useful be
Seeking for those so near to me-
Bring help and cheer to OTHERS.

Let "Self" be crucified and slain,
And buried deep:and all in vain
May efforts be to rise again,
That I may live for OTHERS.

OTHERS, Lord, yes, others.
Let this my motto be,
Help me live for others,
And thus be serving Thee.
