Question:
What are some suggestions on how to talk to the unsaved about the Lord? What about talking to some friend we have had for years but never talked to him/her about the Lord? How do you bring the topic to spiritual things?

Answer:
FOLLOW THE LORD FIRST – Jesus said “Come ye after Me, and I will make you to become fishers of men” (Mark 1:17). It is the Lord Himself who teaches us how to reach souls for Him, and He will if we follow Him by doing what He tells us in our lives.

TALK about what you have learned about the Lord in the meetings or in your private study (John 1:45). –INVITE them to the meetings.
ONE-ON-ONE talk, be a friend, give advice, counsel.
PRAY for unsaved friends. Praying for them will make us more aware of opportunities to reach them for Christ. Pray and then be ready to be used by God. When the opportunity comes the Lord says: “Open thy mouth wide and I will fill it” (Psalm 81:10). He promises that the Spirit of God will bring all things to our remembrance that He has told us (John 14:26; Matthew 10:19). He will do the work; we are merely His instruments. It is only by prayer and dependence on God, that we will have the strength and boldness to tell others about Jesus. When we depend on Him, the Spirit of God, Who is in us who are saved, gives us the power (Acts 1:8).Look at people as souls that will live forever and that Jesus died for. Keeping this in focus will help to allow the Spirit to give us boldness to tell them of the Saviour.
