Answer:
We are watched by people (1 Corinthians 4:9). So go to them and explain that what you did was wrong, and that you’re sorry about it, and then ask for their forgiveness.

We may never receive forgiveness from them, but our responsibility to them and to the Lord is to admit wrong, and repent—turn from wrong—don’t repeat it. We cannot do this in our own strength but we can if our minds are daily renewed by the Word and then we will experience God’s will in our lives (Romans 12:2).
