What things will keep us from serving the Lord? How can we overcome them?

Answer:
Satan desires to use anything in our lives to keep our eye off of the Lord, and thus keep us from serving Him.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand” (Ephesians 6:12, 13). The “whole armor” we are to put on is in Ephesians 6:14-18.
