Whose ways does the Lord want us to consider?

Question:
Whose ways does the Lord want us to consider?

Answer:

My ways. The Lord wants us to think about not what other people are doing, but what each of us personally is doing. The people in Haggai’s day lived for themselves instead of for the Lord. They ate and drank, but were not filled; clothed themselves, but were not warm; earned wages, but put it in a bag with holes (Haggai 1:6). This will be the result for everyone who lives for self and not the Lord; who builds their own house and not the Lord’s house.
