Question:
How can we who are Christians have joy under the circumstances we live in?

Answer:
We shouldn’t be “under the circumstances.” We need to believe that the Lord is really in control–even if the circumstances don’t look like it. God’s Word says that the Lord is in control of “all things” (Ephesians 1:11).


His Word also says that He will finish the work He began to do in us the moment we were saved–of making us like Jesus (Philippians 1:6). If we have joy and peace—by trusting the Lord—we will show it, and this will have a good effect on others.
