If faith is a gift from God as Ephesians 2:8 says, why are there some people who don’t have it?

Answer:
As with every gift, we either accept it or reject it. Sarah “laughed” (Genesis 18:13-15), but Mary accepted the promise to have a child (Luke 1:30-38).
