How do you know what path God wants you to follow?

Answer:
John 7:17 reads: “If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.” In this verse we have the secret to having God’s will revealed to us. If any of us want to “do” God’s will Jesus promises that he shall know the doctrine. I believe this holds true in whatever we seek to do.

If we enter a situation, seeking to make a decision, and we have our mind already made up, we close our mind to God’s direction. But on the other hand, if we start out going a certain direction, making certain decisions so far as we know that are God’s leading, and leave our mind open to be directed further by God, He will lead. He will direct either through circumstances, advice of others who love the Lord, or by showing me something from the Word.Speaking from experience, I have seen the Lord direct me to make decisions, with any, and/or all of the above ways, if I am open to go in the way God directs.
